• Her landscapes (2014)

Her landscapes (2014) is a series of digital collages, which explores the concept of a self-portrait through experimentation with traditional and digital mediums. During the project the self undergoes transformation. In the platform of an image it becomes an alienated body, which exists in an artifical constructed space resembling the familiar and the everyday. Creating a self-portrait is like bulding a mannequin, which only looks like me. “Cutting off” body parts through collage results in separation of identity from the body. I am experimenting with form, connecting expressive lines, geometric and organic elements in order to explore the landscapes of my inner world. Every finished collage is like a film still exposing a part of a story.
